1. Harga yang mahal
Oke, mungkin poin ini agak relatif jika diterapkan pada orang yang berbeda. Namun, bagi kebanyakan orang di Indonesia, harga iPhone terlalu premium untuk dimiliki. Di Singapura, iPhone dengan kapasitas penyimpanan data terendah mencapai angka SGD 1.148 (sekitar Rp 10,7 juta). Dengan harga yang sama, kita bisa membeli dua buah Xiaomi Mi 4 yang mempunyai performa yang tidak kalah hebat dan masih mempunyai sisa uang. Namun harus diakui bahwa ini bukanlah alasan utama untuk tidak membeli iPhone 6 untuk orang yang mampu.
2. Desain yang “original”
iPhone 6 terlihat sama seperti Galaxy Note 2 dari Samsung yang rilis tahun 2012 lalu. Yang membedakan hanyalah tidak adanya stylus dan pemilihan material yang digunakan. Perbandingan ini terlalu kuno? Coba bandingkan dengan One M8 terbaru dari HTC. Masih membantah hal ini? Well, Anda mungkin tidak sendirian dalam argumen ini, namun setidaknya kedua perangkat dari HTC dan Samsung tersebut tidak memiliki kamera yang menonjol seperti yang ada di bagian belakang iPhone 6 – tonjolan kamera yang bahkan Apple sendiri terlalu malu untuk mengakuinya.
3. Inovasi Apple yang kurang relevan di Indonesia
Ditolak SIRI itu rasanya…
Bro, ada Apple Pay di iPhone 6. Dan Siri sekarang makin pintar.
Satu pertanyaan saja, apa fitur-fitur itu relevan untuk digunakan di Indonesia? Apple Pay memang revolusioner dan Siri memang pintar. Kita tidak bisa membantah kemajuan teknologi tersebut. Namun, fitur tersebut adalah salah satu yang tidak dapat dimaksimalkan penggunaannya di tanah air.
Anda belanja di toko, lalu ketika akan membayar, coba Anda sodorkan Apple Pay. Kemungkinan besar Anda akan disambut dengan tatapan wajah bingung sang kasir. Siri pun sama saja. Di Amerika Serikat, Siri bisa melakukan banyak hal. Mulai dari membeli tiket film bioskop hingga memesan meja di restoran favorit Anda. Namun, hal tersebut tidak – atau belum – dapat dilakukan di Indonesia.
4. Deal with it, iPhone bukanlah smartphone terbaik
iPhone memang merupakan handphone dengan spesifikasi (dan harga) yang kuat. Namun, perlu Anda ingat bahwa iPhone sudah tidak lagi menjadi raja smartphone di dunia. Resolusi layar teranyar Retina HD? Itu artinya layar resolusi 326 PPI (iPhone 6) dan 401 PPI (iPhone 6 Plus). Resolusi layar Oppo Find 7 dan LG G3 lebih baik dengan 538 PPI.
Baterai? Di saat iPhone 6 Plus – layar 4,7 inci – memiliki 16 jam bicara dengan koneksi 3G, Samsung Galaxy S5 – layar 5,1 inci – memiliki 21 jam bicara dengan koneksi yang sama. Lumia 1520, dengan layar 6 incinya, memiliki waktu bicara yang sama dengan iPhone 6 Plus yaitu 24 jam.
Kamera? Tidak ada yang secara absolut bisa mengatakan bahwa iPhone 6 memiliki kamera terbaik. Masih ada handphone dengan kamera kuat lainnya seperti Lumia 1020 dan LG G3.
Intinya, apabila Anda ingin membeli iPhone 6 karena merasa handphone tersebut merupakan yang terbaik di dunia, itu bukan alasan valid.
5. Jangankan yang terbaik, iPhone 6 serasa mengekor Android
Beberapa hari terakhir banyak sekali meme yang mengejek iPhone 6. Meskipun lucu, namun beberapa ada yang membuat kita sedikit berpikir dan membenarkan apa yang tercantum di dalam meme tersebut. Salah satunya adalah spesifikasi iPhone 6 yang sama seperti yang dimiliki Nexus 4 yang dirilis pada tahun 2012.
6. After sales service yang memble
Oke, Apple dikabarkan sudah memiliki sebuah kantor cabang di Indonesia. Akan tetapi, mereka belum memberikan pengumuman apapun apa manfaat dari kantor itu. Semoga saja kantor itu akan bisa membantu performa after sales service Apple di Indonesia.
Bagaimana tidak, saat ini semua proses servis produk Apple masih ditangani distributor resmi seperti iBox, Infinite, dan Emax. Dan semua suku cadangnya masih harus diimpor dari Singapura! Jadi Anda sudah harus siap menunggu beberapa waktu – bahkan bisa hingga enam bulan – hingga gadget Apple Anda yang mahal bisa selesai direparasi atau digantikan sepenuhnya.
Anda tidak akan menjumpai masalah yang serupa dengan merk handphone lainnya seperti Samsung dan Nokia. Mereka memiliki suku cadang di Indonesia dan akan bisa memperbaiki gadget Anda yang rusak dengan cepat… setidaknya lebih cepat daripada Apple.
Alasan-alasan di atas mempunyai beberapa poin yang bisa diambil dan dibenarkan oleh Anda. iPhone memang smartphone terlaris di dunia untuk saat ini. Dan kami disini bukan bermain sebagai seorang penjahat yang ingin menjatuhkan iPhone. Namun, selain sisi plus dari sebuah perangkat, mereka pasti selalu mempunyai sisi minus, bukan?
